MUSHINGASHI:

EXPERIENCE AFRICAN WILDLIFE AS IT USED TO BE

At Mushingashi we pride ourselves in providing a professional, dynamic and (most of all) a natural wildlife experience second to none. Experience the finest in African safari!

ABOUT MUSHINGASHI

Mushingashi can be found in south central Zambia, the ‘Heart of Africa’ right next to the oldest and largest National Park in Zambia and stretches from the majestic Kafue River to the north and the rolling hills to the south. Mushingashi currently covers an area of over 100,000 acres.
The vegetation is diverse, from semi deciduous woodlands (Julbernadia Miombo), to open grass plains (Dambos), to tributary grasslands that stretch for kilometers along waterlines.

CONSERVATION

Unlike most safari parks in Africa, Mushingashi is a unique conservation area. There are no fences to keep the wildlife in and so they are free to enter and leave of their own accord
Visitors to Mushingashi are able to observe the African wildlife in the most natural environment possible.
Mushingashi is perfectly located and professionally managed to attract all species of wildlife Africa has to offer.

WILDLIFE POPULATION

Due to the careful and experienced management of Mushingashi, the wildlife population has grown to an amazing level and is still increasing naturally. You can expect to see numbers of wildlife unattainable in fenced parks.
Follow the links on the left to find out more.

ACCOMMODATION

Mushingashi has several camps located around the conservation area offering a variety of accommodation options including comfortable lodges with private modern bathrooms to camping areas with full facilities to enjoy camping at its best. We offer full board options and also self catering.
Make Mushingashi the experience you want it to be!
